Introduction
The issue of maladaptive behavior is one of the most important aspects of brain injury rehabilitation. Behavior disorders are disturbing to families, disruptive to therapy and can jeopardize client safety. This course will clearly illustrate and simplify the concepts, techniques and uses of applied behavior analysis. You will have a greater understanding of the brain-behavior relationship, the effects of medications on behavior, and some of the ethical questions regarding behavior analysis. You will also learn some general guidelines and principles of behavior modification, behavior plan formats and procedures, data collection, and crisis prevention and intervention.
